"Yesterday was a great DAY"

Besides losing my voice couple days ago, i hade a very good day yesterday..........was out in the wilderness all day always searching for new adventure...and ofcourse my bears are my favorites....This bear was photographed with Nikon 600 mm prime lens and it was in new area to me..

Looking for berries he/she was climbing up and down the berry bushes looking for berries that are the furthest away....It was interesting watching while battling with heavy lens to get that right capture....

At 6800 feet elevation everything is so golden and beautiful......My favorite season of the year besides winter and snow...until next enjoy my adventures....For more variety of bears photos visit my website at http://aphoto4you.smugmug.com/

Just beautiful in his natural environment. I do hope you were far enough away for safety - be careful!

Hey KML,
Usualy with Bears i am using long range lenses....This happen to be Nikon 600 mm prime lens...Bears are usualy calm creatchures....However they are very unpredictable and they act on particular noises.....i have watched them react on rambling noises, such as thunder...They rarely attack unless they threaten....if they feel that threat is larger then them they wil run....if they feel that threat is smaller then them they wil retailate and attack....bears in Wyoming are my favorites...But in Alaska if the bear is busy eating salmon at Katmai you can be walking right by them through the wilderness and they wont bother u...

Generaly speaking, and i am no expert on bears in any shape or form they wil attack if they are hungry, and worst time is early spring..they are desperately looking for food as they just emerge from deep winter hybernation..and ofcourse there is not much food available early spring...

I been warned on many occassions to be careful....even with long range equipment i have a urge to be so close to the bear...and that is mistake we al make..we are just humans...I try to be as careful as possible...

Bears are my best friends!!!!
